Yesterday I tried "Karoma" in Station Road for a massage (Kathryn
Tinsley). The knots in my neck and back were more like
boulders and I was in a lot of pain, and not looking forward to further pain as
they were massaged out. However - never in my life have I had such a wonderfully deep massage
with none of the pain normally associated with
getting my back into shape. All the knots have gone, and I came out feeling
about 12 inches taller!
It was also absolutely lovely to have the full time spent on the actual massage rather
than tidying up the room and filling out forms (this was done outside my alloted time
slot).

I was converted to Karoma the moment I stepped through the door of the salon. The fact that one has the salon to yourself for the whole duration of a treatment, uninterrupted by somebody else's chatter, is very precious indeed. That is the icing on the cake, the cake being the treatment itself, of course, which is of excellent quality. Not unlike the beautifully tasteful decor of the salon and the very warm and welcoming Kathryn herself.
